I hate to write this, but we are falling short. We are just scratching the surface of our true political potential. Here are three realities about our strength:
Our union's political strength comes from our collective voice.
COPE is the engine that drives our political influence.
Only 15% of us contribute to COPE.
Think about that. Only 15%. Imagine the impact we could have if all of our members stood united through their COPE contributions. By contributing to COPE we fuel our ability to advocate for better wages, secure retirement, and stronger benefits. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference.
But getting there requires a commitment from each of us. Remember, COPE is not just a fund; it is a symbol of our determination and our commitment to securing a better future for ourselves and those we serve. The time to act is now, and every contribution brings us one step closer to our goals.
The beauty of COPE lies in its accessibility. Whether you can contribute $1 per paycheck, $15 per paycheck or more, each contribution adds to the collective force that propels our agenda forward. Our collective bargaining power would skyrocket, ensuring our demands are heeded with urgency. Your voice would carry weight, your concerns addressed swiftly, and your well-being prioritized.
